Just west of Shanghai lies the Dongting Mountain range. The region is rich with farms and orchards. Our Pi Lo Chun draws influence from the surrounding trees of peach, plum, and apricot.
Produced only in the spring from the unopened bud and one leaf, the tea has its signature white fuzzy down. Supply is short on this fabulous, highly sought after tea.
The tea is sold in a three ounce quantity (enough for 40 - 45 cups), which is packaged in a stand up foil pouch with a zip loc for freshness and a heat seal to maximize the quality.
Preparation: Use 1 teaspoon of tea per six ounce cup, bring water to a boil, steep for 2 minutes. Good for multiple infusions.
